Cast Iron & Spruce
Table out of a cast iron frame and spruce wood
Unfortunately, this has already found a new home.
Description
Here we have a beautiful table. Its made of a lathe mashineframe in combination with an old spruce wood board. The individual wood boards are not only glued together, but in addition, the whole solid wood panel is crossed by two continuous threaded rods to ensure strong stability. You will notice the threaded rods only because of the brass nuts which can be seen on the front and back sides.
The beautiful spruce wood is protected with a few layer of acrylic clear coat matt. Of course, the paint is suitable for children’s toys, according to DIN EN 71.3, and therefore harmless.
The cast iron frame is treated only with hard oil to maintain its raw form.
