Edison & Oak
Edison lamp in combination with an old oak plank and cast.
Unfortunately, this has already found a new home.
Description
Here I combined the warm light of an Edison lamp with an expressive oak plank. The wood spent its first life as a floorboard in an old barn. It is about 200 years old. But now, on the wall, I think it has found a much more appropriate place. The beautiful bronze antique finish of the frame blends with the wood and cast to compliment each other and create a wonderful piece. The twisted factory cable in petroleum is the icing on the cake of the whole composition.
